As reportet in yesterday´s post I was yesterday evening in Mdina. It is a spectually nice place. It is very quiet and the live in Mdina is very expensive. One flat cost 5 million euros. 😳 Unfortunately, it has drizzled in the evening slightly. Here are a few impressions:          Your Michaela 💛

Dinner by Mdina with other students and typical maltese food

I booked an intensive cours with 30 hours of a week. The intensive course connect the 20 hours basic course with the 10 hours intensive course. For both courses I have different english levels and one class each. I like the classmates, they come from South Korea, Japan, Brasil, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Russia and Colombia. Its exciting. 😃 After two days at the EC shool, I realize that the basic course is to easy for my. Today I taked a second test to check up my level. Now I am waiting for the resulst. In the evening I am visit Mdina. Mdina is the former capital of Malta and film set for one or the other well-know film, for example for "Game of Thrones"... Your Michaela 💛

After a few days of St. Julian´s I can tell you the following: Although it is very dusty and unfortunately a bit dirty, my exploration showed me some nice places in St. Julians. St. Julians has a great old town and a beautiful harbor. In St. Julians there is the possibility to go out every night. There is a bar next to the restaurant and club. Every evening the bustle ends well after midnight. Your Michaela 💛

Today it was my first day at the EC Shool in Malta. In the morning I got my student card, my timetable and a very good overview of the shool and Malta. It was a day full of information and now I have a bit of a headache. Tomorrow my day begins at 1 pm and ends at 6 pm. I prefer to work in the morning but the timetable means I work two in the afternoon. These both days I work at my skills on the other days, in the morning, I improve my english grammar. Tomorrow I will get to know my class. I´m curious about which countries my classmates come from. Your Michaela 💛

I´m back from my englisch speaking test and I´m very exicted. With Joe, a teacher, and other students from Italy, Russia, France, Switzerland and Brazil, we spent an interesting 1.5 hours getting to know each other. I realize that I do not speak the best English but I do not say the worst at far. 👍 Tonight there will be a "Kennlern-Dinner" with all new students. One of them will be my new classmates tomorrow.. After my train failed first and the replacement train was late, I was just before boarding at the airport. The fligt wasn´t good. It was very cloudy and windy, so there was a lot of turbulence.  Due to the weather, the flight took a long time, so I arrived at 17:30 at the airport in Malta. Now I am in my appartment in St. Julians. It is very big with a huge rooftop terrace and sea views. The appartment is in the center near bars and clubs and 5 minutes walk from the school. For Sunday I have some free time and I will explore the area. Later I have my first Englisch test. Your Michaela 💛
